Vasily Nazarov
With over 15 years of experience in film and commercial production, I have built my career at the intersection of cinematography and colour grading.
After studying Cinematography at the Instituto de Cine de Madrid (ICM), I specialized in Colour Grading at 709 Media Room, developing a strong visual approach that combines technical precision with cinematic storytelling.
As a Director of Photography, I worked on the medium-length film Norma, which received recognition at the Cannes and Portobello film festivals. I have also shot several commercials and branded content projects.
As a Colourist, I was responsible for the colour grading of the feature film Autorreplica, as well as several short films, commercials, and branded content productions for a range of production companies.
In 2015, I co-founded the production company Dos35, where I served as lead colourist for eleven years, grading international campaigns for brands including Samsung, McDonald’s, HONOR, Endesa, TaxDown, Popeyes, AXE, Alcampo, Cabify, UNICEF, and Save the Children.
I now work as a freelance colourist, bringing a cinematographer’s eye to every grade and a strong understanding of image, light, texture, and narrative tone.
